Aiden had a busy day.
He is now a whopping 1lb - 8oz. Back to his original birth weight. His infection seems to be gone so the doctors installed a percu-cath line. He also got some blood today.
Dr. Desai decided to remove the ventilator once again to see how Aiden would handle it. When it was removed, they installed the high flow cannula. Unfortunately, Aiden didn't do quite as well as last time. His heart rate and oxygen saturation dropped suddenly, and they had to immediately put him back on the ventilator. He did fine once back on the ventilator and his stats picked back up. I guess he's just not ready yet.
Aiden is really tugging at his eyelids trying to get them open. Maybe tomorrow he will get to see the world.

Glenn and Lisa,
Your faith and trust in God is amazing. Aiden is lucky to have the two of you.
I will await the news that Aiden has seen his mom and dad for the first time.
You are in my prayers and thoughts daily.
It was great seeing you Sunday at church.
In Chirst Love,
Lisa Harris
I am very glad to hear that Aiden is doing so well. Remember, baby steps are a huge step with a little one like him, there will be times you stumble backwards, but they always seem to get back up and keep moving forward. When it came to my smallest girl I didn't think she'd ever be off the ventilator, I was starting to wonder if she wanted it off, but she was a fighter. And Aiden is a fighter and he'll be off of it before you know. Always remember to keep positive and everything else will fall into place. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Lisa & Glenn,
We understand the heartache the last few weeks have brought to you. Stay strong, baby Aiden needs you. Yvonne and I took our Findlay swimming for the first time yesterday. One day you will take Aiden and your hearts will never be so thankful for the wonderful Doctors, Nurses and staff helping your little man right now.
We are so happy to hear he is making improvements.
